If Jesus is sitting and waiting for His enemies to be made into an ottoman, who is supposed to be doing the fighting?

"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven" (Matthew 16:19).
“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom (Luke 12:32).
If we think He is in control but He says we are in control, who is in control?
"For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed"
(Rom. 8:19).
